MH370 chief steward’s daughter gets signed jersey from Liverpool

Teenager Maira Elizabeth Nari, whose father was on the missing Malaysia Airlines fight MH370, has received a Liverpool jersey signed by the team's manager Brendan Rogers and the players ahead of their crucial match against Manchester City tonight.
Maira's father, Andrew Nari, was a huge fan of the English Premier League club. He was the chief steward on board flight MH370, which has been missing since March 8.
“I am going to frame this jersey. Dad, this is for you. I bet you're the happiest person on Earth right now," the Liverpool Echo reported Maira as tweeting.
"May Liverpool always be on top of the chart and hope you win this season for daddy, for us and for the fans. God bless and thank you so much. I couldn't ask for more."
The jersey had the number "1" with Andrew Nari's name and surrounded by the signatures of the manager and team.
In her tweet, Maira also thanked the three Malaysians who travelled to Anfield recently for a match against Tottenham and arranged for the club manager and several players to sign the jersey for her.
"I have no clue how to thank all of you and it is indeed beautiful and true that You'll Never Walk Alone," she said in her tweet.
Liverpool fans around the world had rallied behind Maira after she posted a heartfelt message about her father on Twitter during the Manchester United-Liverpool match more than two weeks ago.
"Daddy, Liverpool is winning the game. Come home, so you can watch the game! You never miss watching the game. It's your very first time. :')" she had tweeted via her Twitter handle @Gorgxous_. (The Twitter account has since been suspended.)

Liverpool's official website reported that teenager Maira's tweet was met with a flurry of touching replies as friends and strangers alike took the time to offer her hope and encouragement.
Liverpool won that game 3-0.
Her tweet had 3,764 retweets and was also shared by Liverpool FC’s official Twitter and Facebook accounts.
The football club posted the following Tweet directly to Maira: @LFC: “@Gorgxous_ Just to let you know that we are thinking of your father & all those still missing from flight #MH370 Be strong. YNWA”
